1952 Royal Dessert: Movie Stars Stil On-The-Box
These cards were found on Royal Dessert boxes. They have black lettering with red backgrounds. You can see the blue variant with the Pollard still on the box. Check the news for 3/10/03 and 10/30/03 articles to see my explanation (i.e. theory) as to how the variant came about. Another EXTREMELY tough issue, you may only see these come up every 3 years. A Mikan was sold uncut from the original box for $10,000 (a cut-out Mikan card would obviously sell for less but would still command probably $3,000-$5,000). Magazine Advertisement.
