1930 -- Basketball Girl (Fruit Label)
Not really a card, but its interesting to check out. These pop up every once and a while in the $20-$30 range although they have been known to sell at prices up to $200.
1933 -- Sanella (Netball)
The card depicts the game Netball. However, I love this card. I own the site. Translation: I can post whatever I want.
1933 -- Sport Kings
Everyone always says there are 4 basketball Sport Kings. I always say that there are 5. Check out the greatest female athlete of her time Babe Didriksen. She was a phenomenal basketball player and the back of her card does mention these basketball accomplishments.
1934 -- Sport Kings
The only difference between the 1933 and the 1934 Sport Kings is the Copyright date.
1935 -- Wheaties
Babe Didriksen.
1936 -- Olympia
There are a few of these cards that show basketball at the 1936 Olympics in Germany. One of the cards just depicts the fans of the game, which happens to be two mexicans (you would never know unless you had someone insist that the back talks about basketball fans).
193x -- Wheaties
Bob Kissler of Purdue. If you want to see a picture of the card, go to http://www.lahammer.com/food.htm The site belongs to Rob Lahammer and is the only other source of pre-1970 non-major issue basketball cards. According to Rob, he knows of only two. I think that this was issued in 1935.
