1910 -- Fidler's Basketball Girl (Post Card)

I know of about 10 basketball girl postcards and variations of these postcards.  Although they are postcards, they are very attractive.  Even though only the postcards that are in a series could be considered a basketball card, I will be posting all the ones I know of as I get them.

1910 -- Hamilton King Basketball Girl Premiums

There were a number of premiums issued by Turkish Trophies Cigarettes that included coupons for Hamilton King Basketball Girl Premium.  There was a card, a silk, a leather, and a pillow case.  Hamilton King issued other sport girl premiums this year and the pillow case includes illustrates of numerous of these sports girls (and thankfully it includes the basketball girl).  The coupons are out there and you could land one for $50-$100.  Pillowcase.

1910 -- T-6 Murad

A supersize of the williams T-51.  Coupons were included in the T-51s that allowed a user to mail in for this premium.  Go to www.lahammer.com to see a pic.

1910 -- T-51 Murad

Four cards (Williams, Luther, Xavier, and Northwestern) depict the game of basketball in its early stages.  Two could be  found in series one and two could be found in series two.  These cards are not hard to find.  You can usually get them each for about $20 on ebay although dealers try and get $75-$100.  HOWEVER, I have never seen one without a stamp on the back (then again I've only looked at maybe 20-30).  I have just brought this to the attention of some of the other big collectors to see what the story is but if you have one and turn it around, hopefully you won't see any, but there may be numbered stamp marks (e.g., a few of mine have "126" stamped on the back in a relatively small font).

1914 -- L-40 Leather

Columbia is the only leather that depicts basketball, albeit only a basketball.  I have presented the argument that it may be a rugby ball.

1915 -- Japanese Basketball Card

I've only seen a few of these go on sale.  One side was colored and the other side was a "color-it-yourself" version of the illustrated side.

1925 -- Dominion Chocolates

Six  in the set (off the top of my head).  Try to get them with the tabs if you can, but most don't have tabs.

1925 -- Williard Chocolates

            Only a single card.
